Can I apply for a temporary ID card at Lingqiu Railway Station?

You can apply for a temporary identity certificate for free, not a temporary ID card.

Currently, all trains in the railway department require real-name ticket purchases. For the convenience of citizens, a railway police certificate issuance window has been set up in the station ticket hall to apply for temporary identity certificates for passengers who cannot produce valid identity documents to purchase tickets.

When applying, one of the following conditions must be met:

1. Provide a household registration certificate from the local public security agency;

2. Passengers holding student ID cards, Provide a certification letter from the school where you are located;

3. Passengers who purchase tickets with other valid documents must present a certification letter issued by the issuing department;

4. At the railway police ticket issuing gate at the station ( (Report ID card number) Confirm identity by querying the population information system or after review.

The temporary identity certificate issued by the railway public security department at the station can be used for ticket purchase, departure change, ticket refund, transit visa, ticket verification and boarding. The temporary identity certificate is paper, in two copies, containing the holder's name, gender, age, ID number and other information. One copy is retained by the police and the other is for passengers to use. It is valid for one day, is free of charge, and is limited to travel. Valid on passenger trains.
