What does a kiln do?

A kiln worker refers to a worker who loads, burns or controls baking in a furnace.

Job responsibilities:

1. Conduct daily inspection on key parts of each line furnace, report to the furnace maintenance engineer in time when problems are found, and truthfully record the daily inspection and maintenance;

2. Under the leadership of the kiln maintenance engineer, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the kiln every Friday, conduct a detailed inspection of the burning loss of the pool wall, roof and target wall every month, and participate in the monthly inspection of the kiln body;

3, according to the arrangement, to do a good job of cleaning the furnace self-closed and l wall flying;

4. Under the arrangement of the kiln maintenance engineer, when maintaining a certain part of the kiln, bricks and tools must be prepared in the early stage, and labor protection articles must be worn during maintenance, and safety protection measures should be taken to ensure personal safety, and the maintenance process will not affect production;

5. Complete other tasks assigned by the kiln protection engineer.

Pay attention to furnace combustion:

1, porcelain is easy to crack if it is burned in kiln or cooled too fast;

2, the oxidation time is insufficient, and the kiln burning too fast may produce foam;

3. When the fire power of the kiln is uneven, it is easy to deform;

4. When the temperature in the kiln is uneven and overheated, the porcelain expands;

5. When the firing method is not suitable for flame properties, the porcelain surface is easy to change color and produce color spots;

6, the cold kiln is too slow, and the porcelain section is often rough;

7. When burning reducing flame, it should not be too heavy or too long, otherwise it is easy to produce smoking defects;

8. When burning large thick-walled products, we should pay attention to slowly heating up in the ignition and baking stages, deoxidizing in the oxidation stage, and appropriately extending the cooling stage;

9. When firing some glazed products, in addition to controlling the appropriate carbon monoxide content and the appropriate start and end time of reduction, we should also pay attention to controlling the content of free oxygen;

10, when burning crystalline glaze, besides controlling proper heating and holding time, it is advisable to use oxidation flame.
