In order to protect consumers' rights and interests, Jiangsu Market Supervision Bureau recently conducted a special quality inspection on baby pacifiers.

In this issue, 49 batches of baby pacifiers were selected, including Baylor, Beiqin, Iscar, Rikang, Meier Beibei, Mitaosini, Mini Bear and other brand products. These samples come from e-commerce platforms such as Tmall and JD.COM, as well as physical stores and manufacturers such as Wal-Mart and Good Boy.

After inspection, five batches of nipples were unqualified, and the unqualified rate was 10.2%. Unqualified items are volatile substances and potassium permanganate consumption.

Five unqualified products, such as "Xiduo universal caliber pacifier" sold by Suzhou Auchan Supermarket Xingtang Store and produced by Shanghai Yousheng Baby Products Co., Ltd., generally have the problem of "volatile substances" unqualified.

When a baby uses a pacifier with unqualified volatile substances, harmful substances are easily absorbed by the baby through the digestive tract, and most of them are latent and accumulative. In addition, the baby's own immune system is not perfect, which will affect the healthy development of the body in the long run.

According to the hole type, there are three kinds of nipples. The baby's sucking power and sucking method are different. The flow rate of milk will be different with different nipple holes. Parents should choose the right products when shopping.
