Hebei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is a university jointly established by state administration of traditional chinese medicine of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Hebei Province, a key university in Hebei Province, a "double-first-class" construction university in Hebei Province, a doctoral degree awarding unit, a pilot university for the reform of the education and training plan for outstanding doctors (Chinese medicine) of the Ministry of Education, and a "5+3" integrated training institution for Chinese medicine majors. It is the only independent undergraduate college of traditional Chinese medicine in Hebei Province, and has the qualification of recommending outstanding fresh graduates for postgraduate study without examination.

The school's predecessor was Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which was established in 1956. The first undergraduate students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine were enrolled on 1957, and 1958 was named Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 1962 merged with Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, originally belonging to Hebei Province. From 65438 to 0969, Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine moved to Shijiazhuang and merged with Hebei Medical College to form Hebei New Medical University.
