Huxian Peasant Painting Exhibition Hall is the first county-level peasant painting exhibition hall in China and the largest folk art exhibition hall in China so far. It covers an area of 7388 square meters. There are 20 cadres and workers and 6 professional and technical cadres. There are eight exhibition halls in the museum, including Huxian farmers' painting history boutique exhibition hall, award-winning exhibition hall and folk art supermarket. The functions of the exhibition hall are: to contact, organize and guide the study and training of peasant painters; Carry out propaganda, exchange, artistic creation and artistic research of peasant paintings; Unite, consolidate, develop and expand the team of authors; Receive guests to visit the exhibition.

Huxian peasant painting exhibition hall is located in the south of the middle section of Huxian Exhibition Street in Shaanxi Province, about 29 kilometers southwest of xi City. Built in 1976, it was transformed from the original Huxian Cultural Center. After 1989, it entered the stage of all-round development; 1992 and gradually enter industrialization; In 2003, under the leadership of curator Luo Zhijian, the exhibition hall underwent a large-scale reform and eventually developed into today's scale. The whole museum covers an area of 7338 square meters, with a building area of 28 1 1 square meter. There are 8 exhibition halls displaying more than 500 works. The peasant paintings on display are well-known at home and abroad for their strong local flavor, simple regional characteristics and distinctive local characteristics.

Up to now, Huxian Peasant Painting Exhibition Hall has received more than 800,000 international friends and 3.5 million domestic tourists from more than 90 countries and regions in the world. At present, there are more than 300 key authors, 38 of whom have given lectures, exhibitions and performances abroad for 45 times, and exhibited more than 19000 works in 68 countries and regions around the world. At the beginning of 2003, Huxian Folk Art Supermarket in China opened, and exhibits such as peasant paintings, paper-cuts, cloth art, wrought iron, grass paintings, shadow play, knot art, embroidery and black pottery fully demonstrated Huxian's unique folk characteristics.

In recent years, the exhibition hall has established a website for peasant paintings in Huxian County, five counseling stations for peasant painters, and the first "one-day tour of peasant paintings" in China with peasant paintings, paper-cuts, cloth art, straw paintings, pyrography and pottery sculptures as its contents. The route is centered on the peasant painting exhibition hall and consists of 12 families of peasant painters with different creative styles and different hometown scenery. The content of tourism is to watch peasant paintings, taste peasant snacks, watch rural landscapes, experience peasant life and appreciate folk inspirational art, which has achieved good social and economic benefits. At the same time, the exhibition hall strongly cooperated with the farmers' art exhibition, an educational activity to fight corruption, build a clean and honest party style and maintain the advanced nature of workers, which made the exhibition a great success.
