How to make a small rockery;

1. Material: galvanized angle steel (50×50×5, 30×30×3), galvanized steel bar (φ 6), galvanized steel wire mesh (mesh 0.6mm, wire diameter 0.3-0.4mm), high-grade cement, river sand (or mountain sand), iron oxide pigment and top coat.

2. Tools: electric welding machine, shovel, vice, scaffolding, large and small iron plates, scraper, shovel, mixer (small rockery can be pulped by hand), brush, roller and leather bucket.

Second, the detailed production method of cement plastic stone rockery:

1, foundation construction:

According to the construction drawings of rockery, positioning and lofting, earthwork excavation, concrete pouring and embedding reserved angle steel. The foundation construction of rockery is the same as building a house to hit the foundation.

2. Skeleton making: There are mainly two kinds of plastic stone rockery skeletons, brick skeletons and steel skeletons. The following is how to make two skeletons.

(1) Brick skeleton: The general shape of the rockery is made of ordinary wall bricks according to the shape of the rockery drawing. The disadvantage of brick skeleton is that it is not easy to form, and it can only be used for slope protection and small rockery.

(2) Steel skeleton: according to the shape of the rockery drawing, 50×50×5 galvanized angle steel is used as the main body, which is welded in coordination with the reserved angle steel, then 30×30×3 galvanized angle steel is horizontally welded on the 50×50×5 galvanized angle steel, and then the rockery shape is welded with φ 6 galvanized steel bars (as shown in the following figure). Note: The fabrication of steel skeleton is generally done by experienced welders.

3, laying steel wire mesh:

In order to facilitate plastering and modeling, it is necessary to lay a layer of galvanized steel wire mesh with mesh number of 0.6 mm and wire diameter of 0.3-0.4 mm on the fabricated steel skeleton, and the steel wire mesh must be laid close to the steel skeleton. After laying, the steel wire mesh and skeleton are tightly tied together with small wires to make them a whole. The key point of binding steel wire mesh is not to bulge the steel wire mesh. Note: the brick skeleton does not need to be laid with steel wire mesh, and you can skip directly to the fourth step-mountain plastering.

4, mountain plastering:

Plastering is the base, which is to prepare for the next mountain modeling. Plastering adopts 1: 1.5 cement mortar, with a thickness of about 1.5cm, plastering twice, so that the rockery base reaches about 3cm. After plastering, the basic shape of the rockery will appear.

5, rockery modeling:

Rockery modeling shall be carried out before the second plastering. Generally, rockery makers carve textures by hand with shovels of different sizes. The manual modeling method of rockery requires high experience and technology of the producer, so it is difficult for beginners to make realistic rockery effects.

6, rockery color:

At present, the mainstream pigments for rockery coloring are iron oxide pigments, which can be divided into iron oxide yellow, iron oxide red and chromium oxide green. Pigment mixed with water-based resin emulsion and sprayed on the surface of plastic rockery in various colors will form multiple layers.

7, rockery oil:

Surface oil can keep the luster of stone and avoid oxidation and weathering of stone skin. Commonly used maintenance oils include vaseline, oil wax, wax light, etc. Wipe gently with gauze dipped in wax and oil.
