■ 165438+ 10 At the press conference of the launching ceremony of "Twenty-eight Hours of Life and Death" held at Nanbaolai Hotel in Wuchuan, the reporter overheard the local media whispering: "In fact, it is not the charm of the heroine Zhou Kaixian, a famous Hong Kong movie star, that really attracts people's attention, but Jin Ming, a film investor under 30 years old." Luckily, they just noticed, but we made the first move-

"Why did I choose to invest in filming?"
Reporter: Why don't you choose to invest in filming instead of taking money back to build your hometown like other Wuchuan businessmen?
Huang: First of all, I like the film and television industry since I was a child. It has always been my dream to enter the film and television circle. Over the years, I have also heard that many businessmen in my hometown invest in the construction of my hometown, but I think as a businessman and boss, it is not bad to try to take the lead in the cultural field, because with the rapid development of social productive forces, people's income level is constantly improving and social needs are constantly improving. On the basis of basic material satisfaction, people pay more attention to cultural, spiritual and psychological needs, the all-round development of individuals and people's quality of life. The proportion of people's demand for primary industry products in total expenditure will decrease relatively, while the demand for cultural products will increase greatly. For example, people's demand for books, audio-visual, film and television, and artistic products will increase exponentially, and the demand for entertainment services, tourism services, information and network services will increase exponentially. Even the material needs of clothing, food, shelter and transportation have gone beyond simple use and become very cultural. Investing in filming has greater social benefits. This is the most fundamental factor that touches my investment in filming.
Reporter: Among the eight categories of cultural industries classified by the National Bureau of Statistics, one is "radio, television and film service industry". Now you are actually involved in investing in the cultural industry. Have you hesitated before investing?
Jin Ming: I didn't hesitate. The prosperity of cultural industry in recent years is changing people's cognitive habits of the word "culture". Cultural industry is becoming the most dynamic, innovative and profitable big industry. Especially in recent years, the influence of China's films has increased, attracting more thirsty funds to enter the film production industry. If there is such a sunrise industry, will I hesitate? In addition, the film and television industry has always been my dream. With a certain amount of funds, I will definitely pursue my dream. Cultural industry is a multi-dimensional concept, a three-dimensional combination and radiation structure, and a space for all walks of life to blend and contain each other. However, cultural industry is a broader concept, which also includes sports, broadcasting, film and television, tourism and other fields. However, the cultural industry in the macro sense does not stop there, because at least industrial culture interacts with it to form an extension of the cultural industry, which is an important aspect that we can't ignore in developing the cultural industry, because the more important significance of vigorously developing the cultural industry is to pull, guide and promote the upgrading of industrial culture.
Reporter: After all, investing in cultural industries is a high-end issue with a lot of complexity and uncertainty. Not afraid of investment failure?
Jin Ming: Everything is risky, but I'm not afraid. Making money is a good thing, and it doesn't matter if you don't make money or even lose money. In fact, in my heart, I don't think of it as a commercial film at all, but as a theme movie. Because this is the first step to realize my dream, and more importantly, it is the life stage and platform for my future career.

"I used to pick up junk."
Reporter: Did the theme audition of the first investment film take a lot of effort?
Jin Ming: Yes. Before making this film, I had planned several films, especially before September this year, I was still making another film, I will always love you. However, due to lack of experience and other reasons, I temporarily changed it to Twenty-eight Hours of Life and Death. The former reflects the inspirational story of the disabled, and the latter reflects the story of doctors and patients saving lives. But no matter which movie, it pays attention to the theme of "mental health", especially "28 hours of life and death". When I auditioned for the script, I collected 300 scripts in Guangzhou and Beijing, and finally decided to choose the doctor-patient relationship as the theme.
Reporter: filming is going back to my hometown. Judging from the theme of your filming, it is also based on a theme. Is there any reason?
Jin Ming: Complex. Everyone has a hometown complex, and I am no exception. When I came back to make a movie, I chose three places as shooting locations, Wuchuan, Zhanjiang and Lianjiang. These three places have traces of my life, unforgettable. Especially Lianjiang. 1993, the family went bankrupt, the father was blind, and five brothers came to Lianjiang to stay with their parents. At that time, I was still in primary school, and I often followed my mother to the garbage dump to pick up waste newspapers, mineral water bottles and other wastes after class. I was a veritable garbage collector, and later I dropped out of school for a year because of family difficulties. It was not until 1995 that I went to school for another year. I was just in the first grade that year. The inspirational story of the disabled reflected in I Will Love You Forever contains the prototype of my father. The "mental health" reflected in Twenty-eight Hours of Life and Death is also based on this source.

"I saved money for ten years to make a movie."
Reporter: When did you go out to work? When did you get close to the film and television circle?
Jin Ming: 16 years old went out to work as a project supervisor and project manager in Guangzhou No.1 Branch. At that time, my monthly salary was 8000. I once accidentally read from Guangzhou Daily that an extras company wanted extras, with a daily salary of 20 yuan. It is my dream to enter the film and television industry. In order to dream, I quit my job as an engineering supervisor and project manager with a monthly salary of 8,000 yuan to apply for an extra who only gets paid by 20 yuan every day. Being an extra actor for a year, although I have known many directors and represented some actors, it is really annoying for me who is short of money but dreams of becoming a producer. In this case, 1999, I vowed to leave the film and television circle and plan to spend ten years making money to come back as the boss of investment filming.

Reporter: What business did you do after leaving the film and television circle?
Jin Ming: After leaving the film and television circle, I have been engaged in clothing, catering, engineering, building materials and other industries, and I have indeed made a definite profit in these years. One year, two years ... 100,000, 200,000 ... With the accumulation of funds to start filming, I also stepped up my efforts to "package" all industries. By the time we started shooting this year, my ten-year savings plan was three years ahead of schedule. This is something to be thankful for. In recent years, the bosses around me have generally spent the money they earned on real estate, buying shops and renting them out. But I saved every penny I earned so that I could return to the film and television industry one day earlier and realize my dream.

Reporter: What are your plans for next year?
Jin Ming: In addition to finishing the filming of the movie I Will Love You Forever, I'm going to take over the TV series I'm from Wuchuan. The plan is for Wuchuan people to invest and carry it out by themselves.
Reporter: Have you ever thought that many people will follow suit because you set a precedent for personal investment in filming?
Jin Ming: This is a good thing! It is hoped that a large number of film and television talents will go out of western Guangdong and create a film and television culture in western Guangdong. We should see the contemporary reality of cultural marketization, commercialization and globalization. The reason why culture can be commercialized to a certain extent is that with the development of production and the arrival of affluent society, culture has become the general demand and the main consumption direction in public life, thus becoming a great driving force for economic development. This is a progress and a direction.
