What do animation majors do?

I've only been in comic books and 2D game companies, so let me briefly talk about these two companies:

Animation-related positions in comic companies probably include cartoonist, comic assistant, screenwriter, comic editor, copyright assistant and so on. The 2D game company has plans, settings, original paintings, animations, procedures and tests. 3D may be more subdivided, I don't know much about it.

Mobile animation is a trend in the future. At present, domestic animation bases are doing better in Hangzhou, Changzhou, Suzhou, Shenzhen and Beijing, and animation companies will be more intensive.

I may not be able to give you specific advice about my major, because I am not an art major, and I switched to animation after graduating from college. However, as the director of animation project, I have also done recruitment work for three years. Personally, I prefer to recruit graduates with good art skills, both technology and creativity, who are serious and eager to learn. Major is not limited. Fine arts, art and design are ok, but education and major are not very important. If it is a creative position, the employer will generally do a written test, which can meet the technical requirements, and employees who are consistent with the company culture can stay.
