"Double Stone" Mushrooms in Baifeng Town

Baifeng Town is located in the northeast of Chuanshan Peninsula, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one side. Here is a subtropical maritime climate, which is very suitable for mushroom cultivation. Baifeng has planted shiitake mushrooms for many years, and the planting area is about 500,000 feet at 197 1. Products are mainly processed and exported by Ningbo Cannery, with the highest planting area of nearly one million feet in history.

Baifeng Town Edible Fungi Base is located on the west side of Baifeng-Zhoushan Zhoudu Wharf, covering an area of 37 mu. It is the core demonstration base of green edible fungi production in Baifeng Town, Beilun District, which was built in 2003 with the investment of more than 800,000 yuan by Beilun District and Baifeng Town Government. The base strongly encourages farmers to participate in the construction of demonstration bases by combining government subsidies with farmers' self-raised funds. That year, a new mushroom house of 260,000 square feet was built and expanded to nearly 400,000 square feet in 2004. The mushroom products in the base are "Double Stone" Agaricus bisporus. In 2005, the base passed the certification of Ningbo green agricultural products production base, and in 2006, the Agaricus bisporus products of the base passed the national pollution-free agricultural products certification, becoming the first largest pollution-free agricultural products production base in Ningbo.

The main product of Baifeng Town Mushroom Base is Agaricus bisporus, with an annual production scale of 270,000 feet, annual output of 1.35 tons and sales of 1 10,000 yuan. The mushroom base has set up an agricultural cooperative to purchase raw materials in a unified way, provide technical guidance and brand promotion, effectively ensure product quality, reduce costs and improve profitability.

Kuroha green shell layer is a rare bird in the world, which combines natural black food and green food. It has the precious characteristics of Kuroha, black skin, black bone, black meat, black viscera and green shell. Black bone balls are yellow and big, and protein is tender. They are rich in trace elements such as zinc, selenium and iodine 18. It has special curative effect on preventing hypertension, hyperlipidemia and cancer, and can effectively treat anorexia, fetal dysplasia and other diseases. Approved by Ningbo Science and Technology Bureau, the research project on green breeding technology of Kuroha green shell laying hens in Baifeng Town is an agricultural project organized and implemented by Beilun Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station, Baifeng Town Agricultural Office, Beilun Tianyuan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. and Lianke Biological Co., Ltd.

In March, 2004, Ningbo Beilun Tianyuan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. introduced Kuroha green shell laying hens from Nanjing Luyuan Agricultural Co., Ltd., hatched and raised them, and 1200 breeders survived. The breeding scale of Tianyuan grass silky fowl breeding base is nearly 5000, and the development project of grass silky fowl is included in the scientific and technological cooperation project jointly developed by Ningbo Agricultural Development Fund in 2005 and Agriculture and Forestry Bureau of District Science and Technology Bureau.
