What are the characteristics of Songshan Mountain?

Songshan Mountain, the holy land of the mainstream Quanzhen religion of Taoism, belongs to the Funiu Mountain system, located in the northwest of Dengfeng City, and is the middle of the five mountains. With a total area of about 450 square kilometers, it consists of Taishi Mountain and Shao Shi Mountain, and the highest peak is Liantianfeng 15 12m.

More than 30 emperors and 150 famous literati visited Songshan Mountain, which is a paradise for immortals to meet and talk.

Knowledge expansion: Songshan Mountain, a first-class scenic spot, was called "ocean surface" in ancient times, called "sublime" and "mountain worship" in Xia and Shang Dynasties, called "Yue" in Western Zhou Dynasties, with Songshan as the center, left wearing (Mount Tai) and right Hua (Huashan), and Songshan was called Zhongyue, formerly known as "Zhongyue Songshan". Songshan Mountain is an important birthplace of Chinese civilization and a scenic spot in China, among the five mountains. In February 2004, Songshan Mountain was listed as a world geological park by UNESCO.
