Responsibilities of the Labor and Personnel Section:

Responsibilities of the Finance and Infrastructure Branch:

Responsible for the development of the city's education planning and school layout and adjustment plan; Responsible for the statistical analysis of the city's growth rate information and basic information; Draw up enrollment plans for schools of all levels and types; Responsible for the management and implementation of infrastructure and school building maintenance of directly affiliated units; Participate in the formulation of policies and relevant regulations on multi-channel financing and management of education funds; Statistics and supervision of the investment and implementation of education funds in the city; Manage special funds for junior high schools at provincial and municipal levels; To prepare the budget and final accounts of government funds; To manage domestic and foreign educational assistance to our city; State-owned assets of units directly under the Administration Bureau and supervise capital operation; Participate in the formulation of education fees and management policies; Responsible for financial inspection, internal audit, education fund management, and the compilation and publication of the annual education statistics manual.

Responsibilities of the Basic Education Section:

Responsible for the education and teaching management of kindergartens, primary schools, junior high schools, ordinary high schools and special education and ethnic education schools in the city. Guide the comprehensive implementation of the national education policy, actively and steadily promote curriculum reform, comprehensively promote the implementation of quality education, strengthen school management, and standardize school-running behavior.

Participate in the research of basic education planning, layout structure adjustment and system reform.

To study and formulate measures for the implementation of the educational system, teaching plan, curriculum, enrollment, student status management and school-running standards of basic education, and check the implementation.

Responsible for the nine-year compulsory education in the city and organize the implementation of the compulsory education law.

Guide and coordinate the enrollment of ordinary primary and secondary schools in the city, organize and guide the junior high school graduation entrance examination and senior high school examination.

Organize and implement national and provincial policies and regulations on teaching and textbook construction, and formulate implementation opinions in line with the actual situation of this Municipality.

Responsible for the daily management of education and teaching in ordinary primary and secondary schools in the city. Guide moral education in primary and secondary schools. Guide the city's preschool education, special education, ethnic education and other work. Manage the safety work of ordinary primary and secondary schools in the city.

Responsibilities of the Sports and Health Arts Division:

To guide the training of in-service primary and secondary school teachers and the compilation of teaching materials; To formulate the continuing education plan for primary and secondary school teachers in the city and organize its implementation; To guide school physical education, health and art education; To guide and coordinate the national defense education and military training for students, and to guide and assist the Red Cross education.

Responsibilities of Vocational Education and Adult Education Section:

Responsible for the safety of vocational schools and students; Overall management of municipal higher education and secondary vocational education; Macroscopically guide the teaching of general higher education and secondary specialized education at or above the provincial level; Formulate teaching guidance documents for secondary vocational education, and guide the professional setting, audit and student status management of municipal schools and secondary vocational schools; Manage and evaluate private educational institutions, adult education and higher correspondence education.
