History of school development

The history of Shandong Normal University can be traced back to 1902, when the Normal School was established in Shandong University; in 1903, it was separated from Shandong University and established as Shandong Normal School; Shandong Normal College was established in 1944; in October 1950, Shandong Normal University was established on the basis of the former School of Education of East China University and Shandong Administrative Cadre School, which was the earliest undergraduate university established in Shandong Province after the founding of the People's Republic of China; in 1952, Qilu University The three departments of physics, chemistry, and biology were merged; in 1981, it was renamed Shandong Normal University.
