How many districts are there in Yinchuan?

There are three districts in this city.

Yinchuan, referred to as "Yin" for short, is the prefecture-level city and capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and is an important central city in northwest China as determined by the State Council. As of July 2023, the city has jurisdiction over xingqing district, jinfeng district and Xixia District. Xingqing district is the political, economic, cultural, transportation and information center of Yinchuan, and the seat of the Party committee and government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Yinchuan City.

Jinfeng district is the administrative center, cultural center, economic center and transportation center of Yinchuan. Xixia District is the center of science, technology, education and culture in Yinchuan City, with Ningxia University, North University for Nationalities and other institutions of higher learning.
