Content introduction:

Mu Family Tree, a color picture book of the Library of Congress, was originally named Mu Family Tree. It was compiled by Mu Gong, the hereditary chieftain of Lijiang in Ming Dynasty, supplemented by later Mu, with pictures and texts. It records the portrait of Mutus from 1 day to 29th, and the biography of 3 1 day. The text on the left is on the right. It is an important document to study the history of Lijiang minority areas in Yunnan.

This collating work is presided over by Professor Xin from the Chinese College of the University of Hong Kong. Based on the Mu Family Tree drawn by Mu painter hired by Gary Locke in the Library of Congress, this paper compares it with other existing editions such as Yunnan Provincial Museum, and refers to other books to form the most perfect collation at present. After sorting, a color photocopy of Mu Family Tree is attached, so as to keep the original appearance of the document as much as possible to avoid information loss. Readers can compare with each other in the process of use.
