Brief introduction of Dalian Friendship Hospital

Dalian Friendship Hospital (Dalian Red Cross Hospital) is a large comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching and first aid. It was designated as the medical center in the east of the city by the Municipal Health Bureau. It is the first foreign-related hospital in Dalian and one of the three emergency centers in Dalian. It is also the teaching hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dalian Medical University, Dalian University Medical College, Liaoning Medical College and Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities Medical College. In the early 1950s, it was called "Sino-Soviet Friendship Hospital" and 1982 was designated as Dalian Friendship Hospital. 1994 was rated as a third-class first-class hospital. There are Dalian Institute of Hepatobiliary Surgery, Dalian Institute of Urology and Dalian Kidney Transplantation Center.
