Anning City is a county-level city managed by Kunming City, Yunnan Province, located at the eastern edge of the central Yunnan Plateau, with a total area of 13 13 square kilometers. Anning, 32km away from Kunming, is an important transportation hub from Kunming to eight prefectures in western Yunnan, and it can go directly to Myanmar via Wan Ding.
