Huaying City is located in the east of Sichuan Basin, at the west foot of Huaying Mountain, adjacent to Linshui County in the east, Guang 'an District and Qianfeng District in the north, Yuechi County in the west and Hechuan District in Chongqing in the southwest. It is one of the two sub-cities of Guang 'an "Double Hundred" group city planning, and it is the east gate of Sichuan Province.

Huaying City, named after Huaying Mountain, was established in 1985. It is a hero city, a red city and an excellent tourist city in China.
