The officially documented economic development zone has been merged into the high-tech zone, which is called the north zone of the high-tech zone. The original high-tech zone is the south zone. The former Weinan High-tech Zone is short of land supply, lacking space for further development and weak in succession. The former economic development zone is located on the north bank of Weihe River, with vast plains, convenient transportation and sufficient land supply. For the leap-forward development of Weinan, it is a good decision to merge the two regions and give full play to their respective advantages.
