1927 went to primary school in his hometown, 1932 was admitted to Tinghu Middle School in Yancheng County, and 1935 studied in Taizhou Shi Mei High School for two years. After the July 7th Incident broke out, he participated in the anti-Japanese national salvation movement led by the underground party organization in Shanggang. 1Feb. 938, introduced by Er Ge Tang, he went to the training class of the New Fourth Army in Zhugou Town, Queshan County, Henan Province.
