The main responsibilities of Taian Municipal Transportation Bureau

(1) To undertake the planning and coordination work involving the comprehensive transportation system, organize the preparation of the city's comprehensive transportation system planning in conjunction with relevant departments, and guide the planning and management of transportation hubs.

(2) to formulate the planning, plans, policies, standards and relevant normative documents of the city's highway and waterway industries and organize their implementation; Participate in the formulation of modern logistics development strategy and planning, formulate relevant policies and standards and supervise their implementation; To guide the reform of relevant systems in the highway and waterway industries.

(3) to undertake the responsibilities of market supervision of road and waterway transportation; To formulate relevant policies, access systems, operational norms and technical standards for road and waterway transportation and supervise their implementation; According to the provisions of the organization and coordination of key materials, emergency passenger and cargo transportation; To guide the management of road and waterway transportation service industry; In conjunction with the relevant departments, responsible for the management of highways and waterways "three chaos" work.

(4) to undertake the responsibility of traffic safety supervision in navigable waters; Responsible for the supervision and management of inland water traffic control, salvage and dangerous goods transportation in the city; Responsible for the inspection, registration and pollution prevention of ships (excluding fishing vessels) and related water facilities; Guide the port facilities security and pilotage management; Responsible for waterway planning, construction and management, crew certification, port facilities construction and industry management.

(5) To be responsible for proposing the scale and direction of investment in fixed assets of highways and waterways and the arrangement of government financial funds; Responsible for the city's highway and waterway related fees collection and reporting, put forward relevant financial, land, price and other policy recommendations; Responsible for the city's highway toll collection, inland river lock, overload detection site setting audit and approval; Guide the investment and financing of the industry.

(6) assume the responsibility of market supervision for highway and waterway construction; To formulate and supervise the implementation of policies, systems and technical standards related to highway and waterway engineering construction; Organize and coordinate the supervision and management of highway and waterway engineering construction and engineering quality and safety production, and guide the management and maintenance of highway and waterway infrastructure; Responsible for the planning and management of inland ports and the management of shoreline use according to regulations.

(7) to undertake the relevant management responsibilities of the city's expressways; To put forward suggestions on the layout planning of national highways and provincial highways, and organize the construction, maintenance and management of highways and their ancillary facilities; Supervise and guide the planning, construction, maintenance and management of rural roads.

(8) comprehensively analyze and predict the economic operation of the transportation industry in the city, and guide the transportation industry to optimize its structure and coordinate its development; Guide the cooperation and exchange in transportation, and be responsible for the management of related foreign-related transportation.

(9) to implement the national transportation science and technology policies, technical standards and norms, organize industry science and technology development, and promote technological progress; To guide environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction in highway and waterway industries; To guide industry education and training; Responsible for relevant industry statistics and release relevant information.

(1) to guide the safety production and emergency management of highways and waterways; Responsible for the city's traffic readiness work, and undertake the relevant work of the Municipal National Defense Mobilization Committee.
