Test of Industry Advantage of China Paper Industry
For China's paper industry, foreign investment is an unavoidable topic. At present, the proportion of foreign capital in the capital structure of domestic paper industry has exceeded the warning line, and the market share of foreign-funded enterprises has been one-third of the world. Therefore, the leading position of China's paper industry should be highly valued by domestic enterprises and relevant departments, said Ren Yongsen, a senior expert in the paper industry.
The rapid development of China's economy provides a huge growth space for the paper industry. The domestic paper industry has been unable to meet the huge domestic market demand, so that the paper industry in China maintains a growth rate higher than GDP every year. This made the international paper giants, who suffered from soaring costs and dull demand, envious and turned their eyes to China. In the past few years, multinational companies such as APP, UPM, Stora Enso, International Paper, Golden Eagle Group, etc. have rushed to China, and spared no expense in the form of joint venture or sole proprietorship.
Facing the aggressive offensive of foreign paper giants, Chinese enterprises have shown a good development trend and strong strength. On August 30th, Shandong Sun Paper Group, the largest private paper enterprise in China, reached a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, which not only won a bank credit of 654.38+0.5 billion yuan, but also won more benefits and convenience for the enterprise in terms of capital demand. Huatai Group, a domestic newsprint giant, has also invested heavily in introducing the world's most advanced newsprint production line of 400,000 tons, and its newsprint output will reach 1/3 of the country's total output, further enhancing the strength of dialogue between the domestic newsprint industry and international newsprint giants.
In addition, in order to change the situation of domestic paper enterprises going it alone, the Paper Chamber of Commerce has also set up the "Paper Merchants of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce", which is composed of 157 domestic paper-making and upstream and downstream related industries. Experts from the Paper Industry Chamber of Commerce said, "The internationalization, centralization and specialization of the paper industry will be further improved. The establishment of the paper industry chamber of commerce will create a good prerequisite for the next merger and reorganization of the paper industry. At present, China papermaking enterprises are involved in papermaking, papermaking chemicals, papermaking machinery, packaging, printing and other industries.
Raw material barriers still exist.
Raw materials are the biggest bottleneck restricting the development of China paper industry. In recent years, due to the strong demand for waste paper imports in China and the rising price of waste paper in the international market, the paper industry is deeply affected by the rapid increase in the import price of waste paper. At present, the proportion of waste paper in China's papermaking raw materials is as high as 44%. The domestic market has a huge demand for papermaking raw materials, but it has long relied on imports.
It is understood that there are 6.5438+0.4 million tons of waste paper in China every year. According to experts, recycling 1 ton waste paper can produce 0.8 tons of good paper, saving more than half of papermaking energy and reducing water pollution by 35%.
Zhou Junyi, director of comprehensive resources department of Shanghai Pan Asia Potential Paper Co., Ltd., said that the consumption of wood pulp in China is relatively low at present, 1 1.3 million tons. It's not that China paper enterprises don't like wood pulp. But we don't have so much wood pulp, not so much wood, and not so big a wood pulp factory.
Gu Minda, director of the Cooperation Center for the Utilization of Secondary Fibers in Papermaking of China Light Industry Group, once said that at present, the urgent task of China's paper industry is to study how to speed up the development of wood pulp and paper problems and establish effective recycling channels. The amount of waste paper recycling in China is far from meeting the demand, mainly because the recycling channels of waste paper are not smooth, especially the channels of large industrial institutions that produce professional waste paper are "closed".
Take newsprint as an example. There are hundreds of newspapers published in Beijing, with a daily tonnage of at least dozens of tons. 70%-80% of the waste paper can be recycled, but the actual amount of recycled paper is far from this standard, and a lot of waste paper is wasted.
