Does the old father-in-law's sentence affect the son-in-law's political examination

Legal analysis: those who are subject to criminal punishment will affect themselves, their immediate children, their immediate parents and their spouses' military entrance examination, civil service examination, military school, police school, bank recruitment and state-owned enterprise recruitment. Those who fail the exam will not be hired. My father-in-law is not a direct relative, which has no influence on me.

Legal basis: Article 26 of the Civil Service Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the following persons shall not be employed as civil servants:

(1) Having received criminal punishment for committing a crime;

(two) was expelled from China * * * party;

(3) Being expelled from public office;

(4) Being listed as the object of joint punishment for dishonesty according to law;

(five) there are other circumstances in which the law stipulates that it is not allowed to be employed as a civil servant.
