Guangdong Unicom teamed up with Huawei to build the first 5GMetaAAU ocean coverage model. How does it light up Yangjiang's fast-growing Ocean City?

Guangdong Unicom and Huawei took the lead in verifying the innovative marine coverage scheme of the new generation 5g metaau(32t 32r) antenna array in Qingwanchai, Yangjiang, realizing the double improvement of coverage capacity and user experience. The actual measurement at sea shows that the 5G commercial terminal can still provide a stable and continuous network experience of more than 400Mbps in the offshore area of 30 kilometers, and can still maintain the access ability of 60Mbps downstream and 2Mbps upstream in the offshore area of 6 1 kilometer, thus achieving the goal of "excellent coastal experience, stable offshore signal and long-distance communication".

Developed jointly by Guangdong Unicom and Huawei, the scheme is the first offshore coverage model based on 5GMetaAAU technology in the world.
