85 1 1 The Institute is directly under the First Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Industry Group. It is located in Nanjing, a famous historical and cultural city with developed electronic industry, at the southern foot of Zijin Mountain, close to Crescent Lake. It is the only aerospace electronic countermeasures institute in the aerospace system. In 2002, it was identified by the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense as the core reserve unit of military industry.
