Recently, as a publicity officer, I participated in the campus recruitment work of the company’s Nanjing site, and I gained a lot of feelings and gains. I realized the huge difference from speech to preaching. The former is a process of spreading personal thoughts through speech, and the addition of stage expression makes such communication more effective. The latter is how to convey all aspects of a company's culture through each piece of film. It must be both formal and people-friendly, both atmospheric and affectionate. The former is focused on the topic of the speech, while the latter is focused on the accumulation of experience.

Preaching is a job that really requires experience! However, the good news is that if you have the skills to give a speech, you can accumulate publicity experience and put some techniques to use in a very short period of time!

The two are different:

1: Different themes

There is a wide range of speech topics to choose from. You can choose a field in which you are good at giving a keynote speech. The content of the announcement, especially the theme and content of a large international company's announcement, is almost certain. Official certification, no one can be deceived!

2: Different expressions

The performance of the speech changes with the change of the theme. It can be exaggerated, self-defeating or self-humiliating. The on-site performance of the lecture needs to be more solemn and relaxed. It must have the professional look of a large company, but also the performance of being close to the students and getting along well.

3: Different power points

The power point of a speech lies in the explosive power of an instant. From a low emotion to a high emotion, the transition can be instantaneous. The preaching pays more attention to inheritance and integration, and also pays more attention to the smooth connection of emotions.

1: Telling stories is better than reasoning

The power of stories is greater than any reason. Whether it's a speech or a presentation, if you want to make a point clear, the best way is to tell a story.

2: Stage control

In any venue, whether it is a speech or a presentation, you must have stage control and aura.

3: Affinity

I found that as long as it is a public expression, the audience likes to hear the changes or opinions of people who have the same ideas. How to arouse empathy, how to arouse everyone's cries, or how to get closer and further accept your point of view, affinity is very necessary. And affinity is reflected in every word, and thinking without caring about one's own situation can arouse more recognition.

The above are the biggest differences and similarities. Of course, there are also some details that require close attention. However, only by personal experience can such a difference be reflected in the mind and subconscious until it becomes a necessary skill.

From speech to preaching, it is all talking, but it is more scene-based and more concrete. If speaking ability is a basic skill, then preaching may be a specific application! Speech is the foundation, and preaching is the embodiment of ability. This is probably the biggest difference between the two.
