Causes of combustion safety of intermediate frequency furnace

The reason for this is the following:

1. The cathode of the electrothermal capacitor is grounded. If the electrothermal capacitor has poor insulation during the use of the electric furnace, the cathode of the capacitor will be grounded, which will lead to the breakdown of the capacitor shell. If this happens, the insulation of the capacitor cabinet needs to be reworked.

2, lack of water, long-term use of intermediate frequency electric furnace may form scale in the cooling pipe of the capacitor or the water inlet system will enter the debris jam, leading to overheating and burning out the electrothermal capacitor. Therefore, attention should be paid to the cooling water flow of the electrothermal capacitor during use. If the flow is abnormal, corresponding measures should be taken.

3. The intermediate frequency voltage is too high. If the medium frequency electric furnace is adjusted too high in the long-term use process, which is higher than the rated voltage of the electrothermal capacitor (the rated voltage of the electrothermal capacitor is 750V, 1200V and other common specifications), it will cause overvoltage breakdown of the electrothermal capacitor. If this happens, the intermediate frequency voltage must be reduced or the electrothermal capacitor must be replaced with a model with higher rated voltage.
