Suzhou Technician College is a good school with beautiful environment and good school spirit. Suzhou Technician College was established in 1960, which is affiliated to Suzhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. It is a public full-time technical college. In 2009, the college moved into the new campus of the North District of the International Education Park, and operated integrally with the Suzhou Public Training Base.

The college is adjacent to the scenic stone lake, covering an area of 255 mu, with a building area of 208,000 square meters. There are 5 professional teaching departments, 1 basic teaching department and 13 administrative office, and 26 majors are offered.

The college has five training centers, namely, modern manufacturing, creative service technology, information technology, rail transit technology and comprehensive technology, 86 training rooms in high simulation schools, 23 standardized multimedia classrooms for theoretical courses and 90,000 paper books in the library. There are 26 skilled majors, provincial key majors 10, 7 provincial demonstration majors and 5 national demonstration schools.

The main task of the college is to cultivate high-skilled talents to adapt to the development of regional economy, and to cultivate skilled talents such as intermediate workers, senior workers and technicians by adopting multi-academic system and multi-specification mode, of which more than 95% are trained as senior workers or above. The employment rate of graduates in that year remained above 99% for many years.

Graduates can obtain vocational qualification certificate, graduation certificate and adult higher education certificate (junior college, undergraduate course) at the same time.
