Weihui City is the base of wheat commodity grain and cotton in China, the largest production base of eggs and fruits and vegetables in the Central Plains. Efficient and healthy development of agriculture and animal husbandry has been rated as an advanced county (city) in grain production, a strong county (city) in animal husbandry, one of the top ten demonstration bases of pollution-free animal products in the province, a demonstration county (city) in the reform and construction of agricultural technology extension system, a pilot demonstration county (city) in rural biogas service stations and a large county (city) in China.

Weihui City is listed as a national key county for small-scale farmers' water supply, and won the national advanced county for rural biogas service system construction. The total output value of the four pillar industries accounts for 77% of the total industrial output value.

The highway density in Weihui City is 0.97km/km2, which is 2.04 times that of Henan Province and 4.9 times that of the whole country. Planning: The overall development planning, planning environmental assessment, regulatory detailed planning and circular economy implementation plan of Weihui industrial cluster have all passed the evaluation by the expert group organized by Henan provincial government, and the planning system of cluster area has been formed. Infrastructure: The construction of "eight connections and one leveling" infrastructure such as water, electricity, road, gas and communication in industrial cluster area is under intense progress. By the end of 20 15, 33km long roads and supporting facilities for water supply and drainage pipe networks have been built, natural gas pipelines, strong and weak electricity pipe networks have been laid in the gathering area, 1 10KV substation and garbage treatment plant have been put into use, and three roads and sewage treatment plants have been built in the modern service industry park "9 roads and 6 bridges 1 water system" and Tangzhuang industrial park. In the development of industrial clusters, a food and beverage industrial cluster led by Budweiser InBev's million-ton beer production base, a new packaging material industrial cluster led by Baosteel Group's continuous production line of metal packaging containers and products, and a new building materials industrial cluster led by Beijing Jiayu Company's energy-saving door and window curtain wall central area production base have been initially formed. In the construction of functional agglomeration area, the built-up area south of Weishi Line has basically formed "six connections and one leveling" with a total investment of 2,600 yuan.
