The meaning of administrative division code

(1) The first and second digits represent provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and special administrative regions);

(2) The third and fourth digits represent cities (summary codes of regions, autonomous prefectures, leagues, municipalities directly under the Central Government, municipal districts and counties). Where 0 1-20 and 5 1-70 represent provinces and municipalities directly under the central government; 2 1-50 indicates regions (autonomous prefectures and leagues);

(3) The fifth and sixth representatives represent counties (municipal districts, county-level cities and banners). 0 1- 18 refers to the county-level cities under the jurisdiction of municipal districts or regions (autonomous prefectures and leagues); 2 1-80 stands for county (flag); 8 1-99 stands for county-level cities directly under the provincial government;
