On April 19, 21, the National Development and Reform Commission officially issued the approval document, which means that Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Project has been officially approved by the state and the project has started construction. According to the relevant person in charge of Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Company, the National Nuclear Safety Administration has completed all the review work before the issuance of the construction permit for Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Project, and issued the construction permit for the nuclear power project on the same day. Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Project is jointly funded by China Nuclear Industry Corporation (51%), China Huaneng Group Corporation (19%) and Huaneng International (3%). The first unit is scheduled to be put into commercial operation in 215.
