Xinle Site is a settlement site of Neolithic Age in primitive society of China. The site covers an area of178,000 square meters, and the central area is 22,500 square meters. After the discovery of the site, after many archaeological excavations, it has been proved that there are three cultural accumulation layers in this area in different periods, among which the earliest Xinle underclass culture is named "Xinle Culture" because of its rich cultural connotation and distinctive local characteristics. This culture has become a typical representative and historical source of prehistoric culture in Shenyang. More than 1000 important cultural relics have been unearthed in Xinle site, such as stone tools, bone implements, pottery, wood products and fine coal products, as well as the remains of ancient houses. Among them, "woodcarving bird" is the oldest precious cultural relic unearthed in Shenyang, and it is also the only woodcarving handicraft with the longest preservation time in the world. Xinle site was discovered in 1973, which pushed the history of Shenyang City to the Neolithic Age 7200 years ago. 1984, in order to protect Xinle cultural site, the state built a modern exhibition hall on the site, which was officially opened in May 1985, and 1986 was changed into Xinle Site Museum. At the end of 1993, nearly ten primitive semi-crypt buildings were restored and built on the east side of the site, simulating the life and production scenes of Shenyang ancestors. [2]
