1. pharmacological action

This product is dehydrated andrographolide potassium sodium succinate refined from andrographis paniculata extract-andrographolide through esterification, dehydration and salification, which is the same substance as the active metabolite of Chuanhuning (Chuanhuning is monoethyl potassium andrographolide). The non-clinical pharmacological study of andrographolide shows that (1) this product has a strong antipyretic effect on rabbits with fever caused by bacterial endotoxin, which can promote the fever to subside for more than 4 hours; (2) This product can resist the increase of capillary wall permeability caused by xylene or histamine; (3) This product can shorten the sleep latency of mice induced by pentobarbital sodium, prolong their sleep time, and strengthen the effect of subthreshold dose of pentobarbital sodium on mice's sleep. The experimental results show that this product has obvious sedative effect; (4) This product can obviously promote the function of adrenal cortex in rats and increase the body's emergency response to pathogen infection; (5) Clinical etiological diagnosis experiment and tissue culture inactivation experiment show that this product has certain inactivation effect on influenza virus A ⅰ, A ⅲ, pneumonia adenovirus (ADV) ⅲ, ⅳ, enterosyncytial virus and respiratory syncytial virus (Rsv) in vitro.

2. Toxicological research

The LD50 of this product for intravenous injection and intraperitoneal injection were 600 20 mg/kg and 675 30 mg/kg respectively. Rats were intraperitoneally injected with this product, the doses were 36 mg/kg and 84mg/kg respectively, once a day, for a total of 10 days.
