After the Spring Festival, many enterprises are facing labor shortage, among which skilled workers are "hot goods".

The reporter noted that more than 40 enterprises entered the market yesterday, including five companies under the Zheng Xin Group, well-known enterprises such as ecco, Swire Coca-Cola, Wellcome Food and large employers. "In recent years, skilled workers are very popular. Many students trained here were left by enterprises in batches as soon as they graduated, and the employment rate was over 90%. Companies such as Linde Forklift train forklift drivers here every year. " Yu Jinhua, president of Jinhua Da Vocational Training School, said.

Shortage of job training can enjoy government subsidies.

Insiders told reporters that at present, the monthly salary of general workers in factories is mostly 2,000 to 3,000 yuan, that of electricians and welders is 3,000 to 5,000 yuan, that of forklift drivers is 4,000 to 5,000 yuan, and that of excavator drivers is 5,000 to 7,000 yuan.

According to the existing policies in Xiamen, local laid-off workers and foreign rural hukou personnel can also enjoy government subsidies when they attend the training of jobs in short supply in Xiamen, and those who meet the requirements can enjoy a maximum subsidy of 2,500 yuan.

"Take the training of junior forklift drivers as an example. The tuition fee is 2,200 yuan, and you can enjoy the government subsidy 1600 yuan, which is equivalent to the individual only paying 600 yuan. " Yu Jinhua said.

However, the recruitment leaders of many enterprises have said that most of the skilled workers who come to apply are over 35 years old, and young people under 30 are "rare".

Industry insiders suggest that young people should not just stare at "sitting in the office" when looking for a job. Many skilled jobs are scarce at present, and their career prospects are good.
