Hunchun City is located at the easternmost end of Jilin Province, on the lower reaches of the Tumen River, under the jurisdiction of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. It is China's only border window city located on the border between China, Russia and North Korea. It is connected by mountains and rivers and faces South Korea and Japan across the sea. The location is simply amazing. Because there are ports everywhere, you can go anywhere.

Hunchun has two ports, one is Hehuan Port, which allows you to go to North Korea (whether it is a one-day trip or a two-day trip, as long as you have an ID card, you can apply for it.) The other is Chunhui Port. This can go to Russia. It doesn't matter whether you have a passport or not. Either a three-day tour or a four-day tour is available.

Hunchun is a good place. As a port city, it is very convenient to go anywhere.

My general process is

1. One-day trip to Sichuan: This is the easternmost end of the national scenic spot and the first scene in the Three Kingdoms Scenic Area. Roosters crow and dogs howl. Now the Three Kingdoms.

One-day trip to North Korea: delicious, cheap, and feel the atmosphere of North Korea. It's a really nice walk from here.

2. Hunchun Travel Guide: The Best Free Travel Route

If you look at the map carefully, you will find that the small sharp corner of Jilin Province extends eastward to the seaside. This is Hunchun City in Yanbian Prefecture, Jilin Province. The nearest distance is only 3 kilometers from the seaside and 15 kilometers from the Tumen River to its mouth. Although it is close to the sea, it does not reach the coastline, which also means that Jilin Province has no outlet to the sea. Therefore, if you want to go to the nearest seaside in Jilin City, you can only go to Hunchun.

Tumen is closer to North Korea than Hunchun. Tumen has a port between China and North Korea. In the city, you can see what people in Nanyang, North Korea are doing, but Nanyang is very poor. The difference between these two cities is really big~~It is best to travel to Hunchun. In recent years, Hunchun's urban planning has become better, and the streets have been resurfaced from the urban area to prevent Sichuan (you can see the dogs barking in the Three Kingdoms at a glance).

It takes about 40 minutes to rent a car, and you can also go directly to North Korea and Russia with a group tour, which only costs 1,000 to 2,000 yuan per person. You must apply for a passport in advance. I personally think it is better to buy Korean clothes in Hunchun. Shopping malls such as Yanbian International Trade and E-Clone are not very big, but they are quite comprehensive. There are always Russians shopping here. The train in Tumen can only accommodate about 130 air-conditioned sleepers. It takes 8 hours to get to Tumen. You need to change trains at Tumen Railway Station. There are many buses for 14 yuan. Taxis are chartered for 20 yuan and cost 80 yuan per person. You can bargain for 70 yuan. The barbecue here is very special. Hunchun Yushanfang is a good chain store. It is enough for two people to bring more than 2,000 here. My consumption is not high, so I may have a lot left over when I go abroad. Then that's all. Have a great time.

There are no particularly stunning attractions around Changchun, but there are still some unique places to see and play. Let me talk about the places around Changchun that are suitable for one-day trips (I won’t go into details about the scenic spots in Changchun).

Let S talk about the East first: You can drive yourself or take the high-speed rail. Now that the Jilin and Changchun sections of the Hunwu Expressway are being upgraded, if you can drive on the Changchun-Jilin North Line, the time on the road will increase.

1. Jilin City.

Beishan Park (free), Xuantianling Cultural Park (free), Longtanshan Heritage Park (free), Zhuqueshan National Forest Park, Songhua Lake National Scenic Area. It's not enough to swim in one day. You can go two or three times.

2. Hongguye Lafa Mountain (a good place to enjoy red leaves in autumn).

It is recommended to drive by yourself.

3. Dunhua Liuding Mountain.

It takes 100 minutes to take the high-speed train from Changchun to Dunhua.

South of Changchun: You can drive yourself or take the high-speed rail.

1. National Kettle Forest Park.

One way is 88 kilometers, about 2 hours.

2. Triangle Dragon Bay Scenic Area in Huinan County.

The one-way distance is 231 kilometers and the journey takes about 3 hours.

3. Yehenala City, Siping City, and Pianlian City.

The journey is about 165 kilometers and takes about 2.5 hours.

4. Erlong Lake Scenic Area in Siping City.

It’s a 116-kilometer drive and takes about 2 hours to arrive.

5. One-day trip to Shenyang.

It takes an hour by high-speed train from Changchun.

6. One-day trip to Benxi Water Cave.

It takes about 80 minutes by high-speed rail from Changchun.

North: You can drive yourself or take the high-speed rail.

1. One-day trip to Harbin.

45 minutes by high-speed rail. The one-way drive is 260 kilometers, which takes about 3 hours.
