The recruiter told the reporter that this person basically meets the job requirements, but unfortunately the pronunciation of Putonghua is not standard, some common words are not accurate, and the local accent is strong. Although the company treats both local and foreign job seekers equally when recruiting, if the language ability is too weak, it will not be accepted.
After interviewing the heads of several recruitment companies randomly, the reporter found that most companies have potential requirements for job seekers' language norms. Recruiters generally say that if job seekers have a strong accent, they will generally not consider it. All kinds of positions in sales, customer service, hosting, etiquette, public relations, technical support and public service have higher language requirements. Maybe some job seekers don't agree with the requirements of enterprise standard Putonghua.
