Include pigments and dyes, and pigments can be divided into organic pigments and inorganic pigments. The former has bright colors, strong coloring power and short drying time, so it is widely used in inks, such as azo pigments and phthalocyanine pigments. The latter has good light resistance, heat resistance, solvent resistance and concealment, such as titanium dioxide, cadmium red, chrome green, ultramarine and so on. Pigment is colored in granular state and insoluble in water. It is the most commonly used pigment in ink. However, when dyes are used, the effect is not as good as that of pigments when they are prepared into solutions and colored in molecular state. Pigments can give ink different colors and color concentrations, so that ink has a certain viscosity and dryness.

Connecting material

It is also one of the main components of ink and serves as a medium for dispersing pigments and auxiliary materials. It is made by dissolving a small amount of natural resin, synthetic resin, cellulose and rubber derivatives in drying oil or solvent. It has certain fluidity, which makes the ink form a uniform thin layer after printing, and forms a film layer with certain strength after drying, which protects the pigment and makes it difficult to fall off.
