According to the data released by China Post Office, China Post has more than 90,000 post offices, sub-branches and outlets nationwide, and its service network covers more than 99% of county-level administrative areas, including remote rural areas. Although factors such as traffic, geography and population distribution may lead to low delivery efficiency of postmen in some remote areas, they still undertake the delivery of mail and parcels.

In addition, with the promotion of rural revitalization policy, some local governments are also actively improving the level of rural postal services, ensuring that rural residents can enjoy convenient postal services by strengthening infrastructure construction and improving the treatment and welfare of postmen.

Generally speaking, although modern science and technology have greatly changed the way and form of postal services, postman services still exist in remote rural areas and are providing mail and parcel delivery services to residents in these areas.
