Feng Bin was born in Chengdu, Sichuan. 198 1 graduated from the middle school attached to sichuan fine arts institute; 1985 graduated from sichuan fine arts institute Chinese Painting Department. Associate Professor sichuan fine arts institute, curator of Chongqing Art Museum and vice chairman of Chongqing Artists Association. Director of China Artists Association, deputy director of comprehensive material painting and art protection and restoration art committee.

199 1 was invited as a visiting teacher of Amsterdam Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands to teach China's calligraphy and Chinese painting. 1995 was once again invited as a visiting artist by Amsterdam Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands. In 2002, he was invited to teach the graduate class of Chinese painting department of Central Academy of Fine Arts for one month. He has lectured at Ohio State University, Gwangju University in Canada, and Chengxin Women's University in North Korea.
