Songxi County belongs to Nanping City. Songxi County, under the jurisdiction of Nanping City, Fujian Province, is a small county with characteristics in the northern mountainous area of Fujian Province. It is located at the junction of Fujian and Zhejiang, southeast of the foot of Wuyi Mountain. In ancient times, there were many Qiao Song along the Yangtze River, which was known as "a hundred miles of pine shadows and a blue stream", hence the name Songxi. Songxi County is located at the intersection of the southern end of Xianxia Mountain and the remaining vein of Donggong Mountain. The middle and low mountains surround the county, and the valley plains are distributed on both sides of the stream in the middle of the county. Between mountains and valley plains, low mountains, hills and intermountain basins are intricately distributed. It constitutes the layered overall geomorphological characteristics of the central depression around Songxi County. The terrain of Songxi County inclines from northeast to southwest. The highest point is Longtou Mountain in Dongxi Town in the north, with an altitude of 1349 m, and the lowest point is near Meikou Village in the southwest, with an altitude of 170 m.
