First, collect objects.

Male soldiers are mainly recruited by young people who graduated from high schools (including vocational high schools, technical secondary schools and technical schools, the same below). Under the same conditions, priority is given to recruiting young people with high academic qualifications and fresh graduates. Recruited non-agricultural registered permanent residence youth should have a high school education or above, and ethnic minority areas can be relaxed to junior high school graduation; Agricultural registered permanent residence youth should have graduated from junior high school or above.

Female soldiers are recruited for ordinary high school graduates and full-time graduates and students of ordinary colleges and universities. Under the same conditions, give priority to recruiting high school graduates and freshmen; Graduates from five-year colleges of general higher education and students attending colleges, and students who sign up for adult education, various non-academic education, training or self-taught colleges after graduation from high school can be enrolled (as ordinary high school graduates) if they meet the requirements; Children of martyrs, brothers and sisters, children of active cadres in the army (including the Chinese People's Armed Police Force) and eligible children are preferred.

Young men register in the armed forces department of the township (town, street) where their permanent residence is located, and fresh graduates from high schools (technical secondary schools and vocational high schools) and ordinary colleges can also register online (website); Young women register through the online registration system (website). The recruitment of female soldiers includes online registration, preliminary recruitment, preliminary examination, physical examination, comprehensive quality evaluation, political examination, examination and approval of recruits, publicity and other procedures.
