What HR practitioners should know (2): What kind of people are suitable for HR

First of all, personality, in general, is introverted and extroverted. If you are a little more detailed, take four kinds of animals with personality characteristics-koala, owl, tiger and peacock.

Second, the module. As we all know, the traditional HR modules are: recruitment, training, performance, salary, employee relations, labor law, and affairs work, because all HR of legal and affairs work will be involved and will not be separated. Here are only the first five modules as examples.

Recruitment: absolutely dealing with people requires interpersonal skills and communication skills. In short, emotional intelligence should be high. Among personality traits, I personally think koala traits are the most suitable. Of course, it doesn't mean that the tiger characteristics opposite are not suitable for recruitment. Stress interview is best hosted by someone with tiger characteristics.

Training: primary training is more about training organization and implementation, and Peacock can do it with ease; If it is the establishment of training system, owl types can be deeply analyzed.

Performance: Owl type and tiger type are more suitable, because it involves system establishment, performance execution, data analysis and processing (in other words, more dealing with "things"). Of course, peacocks can also do it, and the performance made by peacocks may be better than that made by owls in terms of company performance culture.

Salary: Compared with the above modules, if the characteristics are not strictly suitable or inappropriate, I personally think that salary is not so inclusive. This is a field that absolute owls and tigers do for people with "physical" characteristics. Don't expect a big peacock to do data analysis and data processing in excel every day. Of course, it's not that peacocks can't do it well, but peacocks won't find it very interesting to do it, haha.

Employee relations: Well, well, it's about the same as salary, because employee relations are more about dealing with people. Koalas and peacocks do better than owls and tigers. These two characteristics that are sensitive to "people" will be more handy and the works will be more colorful. For example, let an owl who is good at data processing organize various employee activities every day, and the owl would rather face boring excel, haha.

To sum up, everyone has his own personality characteristics, and each personality characteristic has a suitable job content. The HR module itself does not strictly exclude the personality of employees, but it will be better if the right personality does the right thing. Therefore, no matter what kind of personality you are, you can come to HR and choose the module that suits you.
