The employment direction of international relations major is mainly engaged in foreign affairs diplomacy, policy research, external publicity, international news editing, teaching and research, and administrative management in party and government organs at all levels, foreign affairs departments, news units, and teaching and research institutions.

International relations mainly refers to the study of the interaction between actors in international relations and the operation and evolution of various international systems. The undergraduate major is international relations.

At present, the undergraduate education of international relations in China is awarded with a bachelor of law degree.
