What are the design schemes of vane centrifugal impeller of flotation machine?

The design scheme of vane centrifugal impeller of flotation machine can be roughly divided into four types:

1. Single-sided impeller. The blades are arranged radially and only located on the upper surface of the disc. Flotation machines adopting this scheme include Farrenwald type and its improved type, Denver DR type and its improved type.

2. Double-sided impeller. There are blades on the upper and lower sides of the disc, which has strong stirring ability. Flotation machines adopting this scheme include SF type and Humboldt type.

3. Centrifugal pump impeller. Its blades are curved and located between the upper and lower disks, forming a closed channel. The slurry outside the tank enters the impeller from the suction port in the center of the lower plate. The auxiliary blades on the upper plate and the impeller cover form a vacuum cavity to suck air, or the top of the impeller is covered with holes to suck air into the impeller. The flotation machines adopting this scheme are XJM and Minemai HC, both of which are special equipment for coal preparation.

4. Mixed-flow pump impeller. Its blades are located on the conical chassis, and the blades form a larger included angle with the generatrix of the conical surface. When using this kind of impeller, there must be a fixed conical platform under the impeller. When the impeller rotates, there is a negative pressure area in the impeller cover, and air is brought in by the pulp (primary inflation). When the pulp hits the bottom of the tank along the conical surface, air is sucked from the back of the impeller through the gap between the outer edge of the impeller and the conical table (secondary aeration).
