Why is it difficult to recruit people in pig farms?

Most people who are engaged in pig industry think that staying with pigs, the working environment is dirty, chaotic and poor, and the status of the industry is not high, which leads to young people's reluctance to get involved in pig industry.

The requirements of the pig industry for the quality of personnel have increased. At present, raising pigs is not only as simple as feeding pigs and cleaning pig manure. Industrial intensive pig raising involves pig farm design, gene breeding, feed nutrition, environmental sanitation and so on. Therefore, the lack of comprehensive talents has also restricted the development of pig industry, resulting in the failure to recruit people.

Matters needing attention in raising pigs

Rural retail investors are suitable for free-range breeding of local pigs, and they are resistant to hunger and roughage, low nutrition, cold and heat, adapt to the local climate and are not easy to get sick. Rice bran, wheat bran, rice soup, noodle soup, leftovers, weeds and wild vegetables are all good feeds for pigs.

Large-scale pig raising is suitable for breeding hybrid pigs with strong disease resistance, fast growth, strong vitality, good feed conversion rate and high lean meat rate. There are two combinations of hybrid pigs. One is to cross with foreign lean pig breeds to produce Du Changyuan hybrid pigs. One is to use local pigs as female parents and foreign improved lean pigs as first and second male parents to produce long hybrid pigs.
