Difference between cold-rolled aluminum plate and hot-rolled aluminum plate

China is a big producer and consumer of aluminum plates. Especially in recent years, with the introduction of policies such as "Lightweight, Belt and Road" and the state's emphasis on energy conservation and environmental protection, aluminum plate has been expanding in China's industrial application field. According to statistics, among the existing 124 industries in China, aluminum-related industries include 165438+. There are many kinds of aluminum plates, so let's start with the difference between cold-rolled aluminum plates (cast-rolled) and hot-rolled aluminum plates!

The main difference between hot-rolled aluminum plate and cold-rolled aluminum plate lies in the different processing technology!

Hot-rolled aluminum plate: aluminum ingot-melting and casting into flat ingot-milling surface-homogenizing annealing-hot-rolled into plate and strip.

Cold-rolled aluminum plate: aluminum ingot-melting-rolling into strip by casting mill.

Compared with cold-rolled aluminum plate, the production efficiency is high, but the defects such as composition segregation and inclusion are not easy to solve, and the quality is not as good as that of hot-rolled aluminum plate.

Other differences:

(1) price: the cold-rolled aluminum plate has a simple process and is cheaper than the hot-rolled aluminum plate;

(2) Different properties: the hot rolled aluminum sheet has good surface quality, strong mechanical properties and ductility, and good oxidation effect;

(3) Different uses: cold-rolled aluminum sheets are mostly used for molds, while hot-rolled aluminum sheets are suitable for stamping and drawing;

(4) Difference of finished products: Generally, the elongation of cold-rolled finished products is lower than that of hot-rolled finished products.

How to distinguish hot-rolled aluminum plate from cold-rolled aluminum plate

(1) If the product is cold-rolled or hot-rolled, the surface of the hot-rolled product is usually bright.

(2) The difference can be seen in the crystal image.

(3) It can be roughly judged by visual inspection, and the simple method is to test the elongation.

The above is the main difference between cold-rolled aluminum plate and hot-rolled aluminum plate!
