Special post teachers:

Special post teachers are a special policy implemented by the central government for rural compulsory education in the central and western regions.

By openly recruiting college graduates to teach in rural schools below the county level in the central and western regions, we will guide and encourage college graduates to engage in rural compulsory education, innovate the supplementary mechanism of rural school teachers, gradually solve the problems of insufficient total number of rural school teachers and unreasonable structure, improve the overall quality of rural teachers, and promote the balanced development of urban and rural education.

Special post teachers are tracked and assessed by the relevant departments at the county level during the employment period. Commend those who have made outstanding achievements and performed well; If the work is not solid and the obligations are not fulfilled according to the requirements of the contract, it is necessary to criticize and educate in time and urge them to make corrections; If the obligations required by the contract are not fulfilled, and the education has not changed, and it is not suitable for continuing to work as a teacher, the agreement shall be terminated.

Counties (cities) and schools should provide necessary turnover rooms for special post teachers to facilitate their work and life.

Special post teachers enjoy the relevant preferential policies stipulated in Opinions on Guiding and Encouraging College Graduates to Face Grassroots Employment, Notice on Organizing College Graduates to Teach, Support Agriculture, Support Medicine and Help the Poor in Rural Grassroots, Implementation Opinions on Guiding and Encouraging College Graduates to Face Grassroots Employment, and Notice on Further Improving the Relevant Policies of Volunteers in the "Three Supports and One Support" Program in our province.

The implementation of the "special post plan" can be combined with the "rural school education master teacher training plan". Special post teachers who meet the corresponding conditions can be recommended to study for a master's degree in education without examination according to regulations. The three-year employment period of special post teachers is regarded as the three-year grass-roots teaching practice required by the "Training Plan for Master of Education Teachers in Rural Schools".

After the end of the three-year employment period, special post teachers who pass the examination and voluntarily stay in local schools shall be audited by the education administrative department of the county-level government and approved by the personnel administrative department of the county-level government, and the education administrative department of the county-level government shall go through the employment procedures for personnel of public institutions and go through the examination and approval procedures for wage fund preparation in accordance with relevant regulations.
