At present, most electroplating manufacturers can basically do this, and all have their own unique electroplating processes. Then whoever has advanced technology and good cooperation will have good electroplating quality. For example, how to deal with electroplated parts, electroplating current, selection of electroplating additives, use of brightener and cleaning all have different technological requirements. The unification of different electroplating varieties, different workpieces, different equipment, technical reliability and process perfection is the core of improving electroplating quality, that is, the guarantee system, so it is the key to improving electroplating quality.
Secondly, the circulating stirring technology of electroplating solution is an important link to stabilize and improve electroplating quality.
In electroplating production, high-quality electroplated parts are completed in flowing electroplating solution. As every electroplating producer, everyone is familiar with everything, but different methods have different effects, such as air stirring method, cathode swing method, submersible pump circulating stirring method, filter circulating stirring method and so on. It is more characteristic to use titanium suction pump (horizontal) to circulate and stir electroplating solution, which is directly popularized. This is a major change in the mixing equipment of electroplating industry in China. However, some enterprises still adopt the traditional method, first pumping out the clear solution with a pump, and dumping the remaining impurities and part of the plating solution. On the one hand, it is a waste, on the other hand, it also brings some impurities to the plating solution, which makes the yield of plated parts low and the repair rate increase. In order to improve the quality of electroplating, the filtration of electroplating solution can not be ignored. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen filtration, and the clearer the plating solution, the better the plating quality. At present, most electroplating enterprises basically filter nickel, copper, zinc and other solutions, and only a few enterprises try to filter chromium plating solutions, which is an obstacle to the improvement of chromium plating quality. 4. Stable plating solution and maintenance of plating solution are necessary conditions to ensure electroplating quality.
1, maintenance of general electroplating solution
Engaged in electroplating, owning electroplating solution is the first condition, and maintaining electroplating solution is the necessary condition to ensure electroplating quality. Generally speaking, the following work is needed to stabilize the plating solution: a, do a good job in the proportion of various drugs in the solution; B solution filtration and slag removal; Reuse of C solution in production; D, a certain stage of solid solution treatment; After treatment, the E solution is reassembled (inverted) and electroplated again, so that the whole process is the maintenance of the plating solution. In the process of pouring cans, different equipment and operation methods are different, such as submersible pump and manual pouring, which are very different. Using titanium absorption pump (a product of the national patent law) is time-saving, labor-saving, thorough, fast and efficient. For example, Harbin Feiyun Group has four electroplating production lines, and six mobile titanium absorption pumps (horizontal) TIC- 10 are used to pour bath solution, which not only meets the high efficiency, but also reduces the labor intensity, and gets twice the result with half the effort.
2. Maintenance and maintenance of chromium plating solution
Chromium plating layer is a kind of metal chromium plating layer with high hardness, high wear resistance and corrosion resistance, which has wide practical value. Especially hard chromium plating has its own characteristics. However, the whole chromium plating process also has weaknesses. How to improve the weak links to meet the requirements of process perfection requires great efforts. Weaknesses are: low current efficiency, poor dispersion ability, poor depth ability, poor coordination between temperature and current density, strict requirements for pre-plating, strict requirements for complex parts such as image anode and solution, etc. In addition, there are many aspects of chromium plating solution pollution (standard chromium solution), such as impurity content pollution of additive chromic anhydride sulfate, water pollution, pollution caused by cleaning impurities before electroplating, and serious pollution caused by corrosion of processed parts falling into the tank. Seriously affecting the quality of chromium plating layer. 1) The electroplating speed obviously slows down. 2) The dispersion ability of chromium solution becomes worse. 3) Poor depth capacity of chromium solution. 4) When the brightness of chromium layer becomes serious, it turns black. 5) The coating surface is not smooth with small particles. 6) The hardness of the coating decreases, and the wear resistance becomes worse obviously. In view of the above reasons, it is not comprehensive and reliable to improve the quality of chromium plating only by additives. The important problem lies in the maintenance of chromium plating solution. So how to maintain, how to maintain? Xu Jialiang, an engineer from Harbin Gauge Tool Factory, thinks: 1) filter chromium plating solution (titanium filter is better); 2) Strengthen the management of electroplating water quality; 3) Regularly clean the electroplated parts in electroplating bath; 4) The fixture must be bound, and no electroplating solution can be left; 5) treating heavy metal impurities by ion exchange and electrodialysis. Only by adopting these methods can the quality of chromium plating be guaranteed, and the chromium layer is bright and pockmarked, and the roughness, hardness and corrosion resistance of chromium plating layer can be improved, and finally high-quality chromium plating products can be processed.
