Do you think employees have the obligation to help the company clean up after work?

I don't think employees have this obligation. Off-duty hours are employees' own private time. The obligation between the company and employees is only within the time when the company pays wages. In other words, if employees clean up after work, the company should pay overtime.

Article 44 of the Labor Law stipulates that workers who are arranged to work longer hours shall be paid no less than 150% of their wages. Cleaning the company after work is to extend the working hours of workers, which not only requires employees to work overtime, but also requires employees to work overtime voluntarily.

I often clean in the company, but I always use my office hours. By the time I was free at nine o'clock in the morning, I had finished sweeping the floor and cleaning the table. Actually, the boss never asked me to do it. I took the initiative to do it, and most employees in our unit don't care, just limited to office hours.

As a leader, we should recognize the essence of overtime, and at the same time understand the obligations and responsibilities between employees and the company, and don't take it for granted that employees' efforts are taken for granted.
