Introduction to Qiaoxia Town

Qiaoxia Town has an advantageous geographical location. It is connected to the county seat Shangtang Town and Oubei Town, the "Hometown of Pumps and Valves in China" to the east, across the river from Lucheng District, Wenzhou City to the south, and Qiaotou, the "Button Capital of China" to the west. The town is adjacent to Xixi Township and Xu'ao Township in the north. In recent years, Qiaoxia Town has undergone rapid changes and has developed into an economically powerful town in southwest Yongjia. It has two pillar industries, the educational toy industry and the foreign trade clothing industry. Among them, the educational toy industry accounts for half of the country. In October 2006, it was awarded the title of "Chinese Educational Toy Capital" by the China Toy Association. In December 2009, the Orchid Branch of the China Flower Association awarded Qiaoxia Town the title of "China's Famous Orchid Town".
