Harbin No.1 Middle School is good, located in Daoli District, Harbin, and is a provincial-level demonstration high school in Heilongjiang Province.

The school was founded in 19 12, which was the earliest high school founded by China people in Harbin at that time. In the early 1960s, it was identified as one of the earliest provincial key middle schools in the province.

By the end of 20 17, the school had a main campus and a cross-country campus, in which the main campus covers an area of 32,000 square meters, and there are 52 teaching classes with nearly 3,000 students and 228 in-service teachers.

Student performance:

For 13 years in a row, it was rated as "advanced unit for improving teaching quality in a large area" by Harbin Municipal Education Commission. 1998 college entrance examination enrollment rate reached 98.45%, 1999 college entrance examination enrollment rate reached 99%, exceeding the targets set by provincial and municipal education committees.

Since 2000, the college entrance examination rate has reached 100%, and the key rate has reached 90%. In 2003, Jilin University admitted four students in advance (the school only admitted six students in Heilongjiang Province).

In 2003, the key sections of college entrance examination and undergraduate sections increased by 3 percentage points and 12 percentage points respectively compared with 2002. The outstanding performance in the college entrance examination in 2003 was highly praised by Shi Yongming, director of Harbin Education Bureau.
